Blatant self-promotion

Hi All,

No apologies for the blatant self-promotion here. :-)

I was interviewed for an hour this morning on Steven Spierer's show on Talk Radio One. Steven is a fellow Model S owner and we chatted about Tesla, Model S and my book, Owning Model S.

Hope you enjoy it.

Nick...

Nick, Enjoyed your interview.

I just ordered it. Still have a couple months to kill before my S85 arrives, just finished reading 'Best Car Ever', so this will fill some time very nicely....thanks!

Congrats, Nick!! Placing my order this week.

hmm...

Nice job Nick. Thanks from a future Tesla owner.

Awesome job Nick. I thoroughly enjoyed the interview. You are a great ambassador for Tesla and their mission.

Thx guys. Steven was more passionate than me!

@Jolinar - which site? I'll try to fix it.

Listened to the interview. Very well done and nice to see such in-depth coverage.
Early sig owner, still exciting to drive.....(it helps to have an enthusiastic host)
Saw your web site also for the first time....Good stuff

Nick. Bought and read your book. Thank you for an excellent, easy, and informative read.

Excellent interview @nick - you are a great EVangelist! I didn't even notice until you pointed it out towards the end of the interview, but you two definitely sounded like a paid extended-length infomercial!

@nomo congrats!!! This is big news, and a great week!

Oh no @NoMo ... you meant placing your order for his book, didn't you. I thought you meant placing the order for your car :(

Still, it's exciting to have the book :D

Jamon - Haha, well technically I've had my order in since July of last year :) My house refi took so long that I figured I'd wait out until January to see if AWD comes out, and if not I'll just pull the trigger. My solar panels and HPWC are installed and ready to go, I just need the spaceship. The book will keep me company until my precious arrives.

alrighty then. I'll wait patiently until January - then expect you to post a new thread when you pull the trigger!

Done!

Certain varieties of self-promotion are welcome. This is an example. Although I don't have the car yet (long wait, Canada's at the bottom of the list), I've read the book and recommend it and any updates!

Nick - I ordered and read your book (but have not yet listened to your interview, yet). Excellently written and was very well balanced in both the criticisms (or 'issues') and kudos.

Lots of good tips that, I am sure, will be useful for any Model S owner. Mine is due for delivery soon and I already 'warned' my SC that I am going to come armed with the book to take delivery.

Two suggestions:

1) Please have an online version for those who have already bought the book or an e-book version that we can download. It would make search easy.

2) Please include more practical after-market options (e.g. xpel, Opticoat, tinting, etc.). For novices like me, that would come in handy.

Thanks again.

I enjoyed the interview. Thanks!

@Tesltoronto - thanks for the suggestions. The e-version was supposed to be out a while ago, but our designer has been unwell. I'll maybe do a small addendum that covers protection and tints.

Thanks for sharing the interview Nick. Took me two days to get through it, but work always interferes. You are well spoken.

Your book just arrived in the mail. I am looking forward to reading it. I have had my MS for one and one-half years but I figure I still might learn something new!

My hint for Father's Day worked. Got a signed copy. Thank you, Nick!!

How do you enjoy the celeb lifestyle, now that you're a world-famous author?
>;)

Lovely
