Model S iPhone App available now

I know the Android app was available a few days ago. I just searched again on the iPhone app store and found the Tesla Model S App. You sign in with the same email and password as this website and it automatically links to your car. The menu includes Home, Controls, Charge, Climate, and Location across the bottom of the screen.

Home - shows current status, can sign in and out there.

Controls - vent roof, lock, unlock, honk horn, flash lights

Charge - switch from standard to max range, start and stop charging

Climate - shows current interior temp, turn climate on and off

Location - map view of the car location, direction to get to the car (goes to Maps app)

Thumbs up so far!

The app now knows about my car! Until this morning it always said that no car was registered to this account after I entered my email address and password. Now it shows my VIN (P13769) and the endlessly spinning wheel, sometimes ending with a notice to turn on Remote Access in the car. Hopefully this means my car is nearing production, or maybe even that it has actually been born! My Delivery Window is 7-18 to 8-1 in Southwest Harbor, Maine. I understand that it will be shipped to the Service Center in Boston, then trucked to SWH.

BTW, it would be nice if the iPhone app would permit landscape viewing on an iPad (or TMC would introduce an iPad version of the app). I often keep my iPad in the landscape position, attached to a Logitech Keyboard Cover.

The app let me sign in for the first time this morning, with the spinning icon. It let me look around the app. Then, later this morning it stopped working and now says that my car may not be ready. Has this happened to anyone else?

'I cannot get the ap to connect to my car

It gets turned on at the car. Normally off till delivery to keep someone from honking the horn, etc - a safety for Tesla workers.

The fact that you got this far means your car has been born.

You should be able to heat your seats and change the driver profile from the app.

Any suggestions on how to register/link my car to my profile?
I bought the car secibd hand and have enabled remote access in the car but when I start the app I get a message saying: your account does not have any mobile enabled vehicles. So the question is: how do I cinnect my car to the account?

It takes about 20 hours for your car to become visible in the app. Call Tesla if you still can't see it tomorrow.

Second-hand will definitely need TM intervention, I think.

I have my car but it won't link to my account. Does anyone know how to get it linked?

Patience, usually - they say it can take up to 24 hours. Or a call to service.

Did you enable it under the control section on your touch screen?

@18wheeler

agreed changing driver profile from the app is a much needed addition!
