Tesla Mentioned in 60 Minutes Story
A story airing Sunday night (1/13) on the CBS program "60 minutes" about how people are increasingly being replaced by robotic workers in the economy used Tesla Motors as an example of an American manufacturing company that has gained an edge on U.S. companies that send manufacturing jobs overseas by building its cars in the U.S. but with a heavily automated robot intensive assembly line. The story included shots of Tesla's assembly line and several Model S's in production and was quite positive.
