Now off to make some choices... P779

P2689 Just got our email today. YEAH! Cannot wait!

Look's like you are (us citizen) in front of the Signature order in Canada. I'm S141 and still waiting....... I can't wait to finaly test one and know when mine will arrive....

P3139. I received my "time to build" email yesterday. Do you get an estimated delivery date after you submit your build preferences?

@hbh24@mac.com: yes you do get an estimated delivery date.

#2982 configured late last night. Dec/Jan delivery date. hoping for a xmas present. and power company finally signed off on our solarcity panels yesterday as well, so they were turned on for first time. so was a great day indeed!!

hbh & Capt;
Are you both Bigs? Or Mids or Smalls?
The delivery date will vary with size, I think, up till the end of the year or so. About then the streams will be "blended"

@Brian H
I am P2359, ordered a 60kWh and my estimated delivery dates were also Dec/Jan

Liz;
To judge from some of the tears and howling after release of Cdn. pricing, your position in line may benefit a tetch or three from cancellations!

deom@nck.ca;

I am also a Canadian signature holder (#132) waiting for the "it's time" email and called my ownership experience advocate to ask about ETa's and such. He confirmed to me that all of the Signatures would be made in the same "batch" with the first 1000ish units going to the US and the next 200ish going to Canada. Even though US production holders are booking their configurations, we will still get them fairly quickly.

I believe that TM is awaiting Canadian certification of the model S.

I've been told by a reliable source that the certification of the Model S should happen in September and would not hold up deliveries to Canadian Signature reservation holders.

Given that he was accurate on the announcement of the Canadian pricing I have to believe him! ;-)

I VERY glad to hear that someone else has been told that the Canadian Signatures will follow immediately after the U.S. Signs. ... as it should be!

I'm a Canadian Signature holder (#77) and would really like to get my Model S before the snow falls!

I just checked my MVPA and my estimated delivery date now says Nov 2012 - Dec 2012! When I locked in my configuration, it said Sept. 2012. I'm S620. This is not a good sign that things are on schedule or that Tesla will deliver anywhere near 5,000 cars this year.

@peter Spirgel
Not a good sign at all. Are you able to contact TM and ask why the delay?

TM said 500 Model S will be produced by the end of September. 42 Founders, 244 SSL and 619 Sigs in front of you. That's 905 in front of you. November seems to be off the pace.

As I posted in another thread, Tesla rep told me today that they plan on delivering all (US?) Sigs by end of October. That would mean at least another 500 for October, same as September.

Any news for the European reservation holders?
I got the #691 number...

@Peter Spirgel is there a place on-line you are checking? I only have the paperwork and last I checked, Tesla doesn't have access to my desk drawer to change it. Can you share were you are finding it if you are looking on-line?

I am P600 and signed my MVPA on 8/3/12. That MVPA showed a Nov 2012 delivery. Today I added Sound Studio Pkg. and had to redo the MVPA. Now I show a Nov/Dec 2012 delivery. I was assured by the Tesla advisor that my place in line had not changed and the delay in delivery is due to a slow down in production for quality control.

When Tesla recently disclosed to the financial community that their initial production rates will be slower than expected, I read an article said Tesla plans to ramp up production more than expected to compensate so they can achieve the 5000 units committed for the year. One article even stated the assembly line is capable of producing 30,000 units per year. If they feel confident about hitting the 30,000/yr switch in November, they can produce 5,000 units in two months.

I am P3030 and got my 'Time to Build' email on 8/14. Submitted my MVPA today. Expected delivery date Dec/Jan! I ordered a Model S Performance w/black exterior, black leather, silver 21 inch wheels, and all the options except child seat. Also plan to get snow tires on factory 19 inch wheels to drive year-round here in Minnesota!

Assuming the Sigs and SSLs and Founders and demos done by Nov. 1, that would leave about 3600 to do in 2 months, not 5,000.

This is the latest info we have:

But the link to submit the error (http://www.teslamotors.com/forum/forums/contact) is not working either... :(

@vermaut_xavier
ask Tesla to unlock you for privat marked fora
they are only open for reservation holders

@Norbert.Vienna
Thanks, Norbert!
Any idea to which email address this request may be sent?
I can't find an appropriate one on the Tesla website...

I think in the long run, I'd rather have them take their time and get things right rather than rush and have problems down the road. If I were in the position of having to wait another month or two from what I was initially expecting, I guess I'd be relieved to know that they want to deliver the best possible product. I don't know how far people need to travel in order to get the car serviced/fixed/updated, but for me, that is a huge incentive for Tesla to get it right the first time.

@vermaut_xavier
just take the address from european sales
in UK they are very helpfull

But the link to submit the error (http://www.teslamotors.com/forum/forums/contact) is not working either... (vermaut_xavier)

It has been like this for months now. Priority is on the cars, and rightfully so, but it's still a shame that they can't even fix the links that are supposed to help when everything else fails.

@vermaut_xavier

Try the TMC site you may find more info there.
