I have not yet seen a detail spec as to what the interment cluster will have.
I have seen the beta but little things like outside temperature indicator, etc. I do not remember seeing.
This is a very important feature for the anyplace that switches frequently between icy and non-icy conditions as the NE does or in the mountains does.
Trip odometer.
Illumination level adjustments.
etc...
Pretty sure it does have exterior temp...

Oh, and I agree with you about the usefulness of an exterior temp gauge when you're right at freezing.
And from what I remember the illumination level adjustment will be done through the 17" screen.
