Spots near Orlando FL to see Model S

Time for a silly request: I'm heading down around Orlando in FL, and I'd love to know where I'd be most likely to spot some S's while I'm on vacation there.

All I'm after is to see and maybe photo some Model S. Seeing S in photos and videos is great and all, but to really get an idea of size, shape and the presence it has, you really need to see it for yourself.

I know there's a Tesla 'shop' at Dania Beach, but I'm a little more than 3 hours driving from there, and that's one way. Can't see that being cheap in a rented minivan. Is there an alternative way down and back that a simple tourist could use? I'll have my phone with me, so I'll be able to check in here for responses.

I just checked the Florida Tesla Owners list (private to us FL owners, sorry I can't share) and there are at least 15 cars in the Orlando area so there's a chance you'll see one. No suggestions where might be better.

If you do decide to head further south, I'm in Boca Raton (will be back home on 25th) and happy to let you drive mine.

PM me over at TMC if you want to get in touch.

Has anyone recently seen new Model S's awaiting prep and/or delivery at the Tampa SC? If so, a call and potential visit to the SC is one possible option. It's located on the east side of Tampa, about an hour's drive from Disney World.

I've been to the Tampa Service Center numerous times, and there's never been a time when there wasn't a fairly decent collection (from 5 to 12) Model S's on hand. It's a very easy drive from Orlando, I-4 to US 301 and you're there, so definitely worth a call over there to see if they can accommodate you.

Thanks for the offer nick, shame my departure date is the 24th x.x
Ah well.

Didn't think of the SC though, I'll have to see how close it is to where I'm at on one of the 'unplanned' days I've got. Thanks for that suggestion.

Make sure you call. I happened to be within a few miles of the SC this morning and took the time to drive by and see how many they had. Unfortunately, not a one outside. There may have been one or two in the service area, but the lights were out and I could only make out the reflection of one wheel. Couldn't even tell if it was an MS.

I live in Windermere, Fl and see Tesla Model S quite frequently around here. My father has one so perhaps you may see him around town!

Am I the only one who thinks TM should open a store in or near Downtown Disney in Orlando? I know they're considering one in the Mall at Millenia, but there are soooo many WDW visitors it just seems like a great place for optimal exposure.

Heck with a mall shop in Orlando, see if the park is interested in making a Model S based ride. It'd be just right for their 'tomorrow land' area.

Yeah, a car shell on a roller coaster with a "touchscreen" that showed a graphic of the track, speed, etc.

Cant't get Disney to put in ESVE's. Doubt they would spring for a Tesla roller coaster. Still, for national and nternational exposure, it's hard to beat the Orlando theme parks.

Sorry, it looked okay when I posted. Make that,

I know of an enthusiastic owner in Orlando. Maybe he can help out.

Dave Metcalf? Does he like roller coasters?

Many thanks to those who suggested the SC in Tampa. Got there late, so they were closed, but here's pictures of the cars outside. There were techs there, but I didn't want to bug them taking pics inside the SC (door was open).

That's not a black in the front, it's a green

21" rims, incase anyone wondered what they look like ;)

Pretty sure those last three are of the P85 loaner for this SC, but there's no way to be sure.
