just got my $199 mats from Lloyd's. they're just awesome. Agree that the mats that come with the car are pretty cheap,
but these are great!

Can you buy the tesla mats at a tesla store or service center? Is there a shipping cost if you buy online from tesla?

A friend of mine works at weathertech. I've been told that the stuff is worth waiting for and they've gone through several updates. I'm planning on beating up the interior of my car with muddy cycling boots in Chicago, I've had their mats in all my other cars. The fit is usually fantastic.

They were quoting 5-6 weeks 2 weeks ago. There is no if, it's only when. They have a special internal memo stating that the mats for the car are in process.

Perfect. Fast. Affordable. Pick two.

Ill definitely be getting All weather mats when I get my Model S. Hopefully they will be out by the time I get the car.

Not sure Ultimats best for heavy mud/rain in NW regions. Think I'll wait for weatherTech Floorliners

They already have the WeatherTech frunk liner available for sale on the TM website. I ordered and received mine last week - nice piece.

@Pungoteague_Dave did you remove the frunk mat that came with or just place the liner on top?

I asked Weathertech about the all weather mats yesterday. I was told that they are "in engineering" and will likely be 7-12 weeks before they are available on the website. I hope the rep (Antoine) was just being conservative. In the mean time, I will likely just use some cheap mats from Costco or Target.

Definitely conservative. It will be much longer, probably. (:-(

I don't know what Dave did, but I placed the WeatherTech frunk liner over the existing carpeting. I figured that it provided added sound deadening.

I did both a ways back...really hoping they start producing them...

@dsecrist - wow - in early January Weathertech said they'd be ready in 6 weeks. And we think Tesla can be a bit off with communications...

I would not expect any mats from this company for months. Their time estimates are complete fiction. I was also quoted 5-6 weeks 2 months ago. Repeat calls to the company on the same day now garner estimates from 3-12 weeks. Good mats but no respect for the customer.

Lighten up Robert22. This is a good American company. They are very customer service-oriented. Why do people get their panties in a wad and throw a tantrum every time they don't get what they want when they want it. Improper weaning? Good stuff takes time. I have weather tech liners in all my modern vehicles. Great product, worth waiting for. They are obviously on the job, as their frunk liner is already here and car deliveries began barely 6 months ago.

Lloyd mats are not great! I got the front interior and trunk from LLoyd and they are just OK. The cargo well rubber mat from them is so Bad it's like a kitchen drawer liner that is cut by a drunk person and a box cutter.
I am having a hard time getting a refund for my $60.
On the other hand I bought the frunk and rear mat from Tesla online and they are awesome and perfect.
