Only touch less. First time I had a problem with water in the right taillight lense. In addition water got into the hatch. When I opened the rear hatch water poured out of the two holes where the rubber bumpers screw in.
But I've been using a different touch less washer lately without any problems.
I think the first time I may not have had the car centered in the washing spot.
Only problem I had with a touchless was soap suds on the plastic under the hood. There weren't many and I wiped them up pretty easily. None made it past the seal to the frunk.
Did touchless. No problems.
I use touchless all the time and no issues except I need to raise suspension so as not to drag on the guide rail.
I heard that the chemicals used in touchless car washes are kind of harsh, anyone know of an expert opinion on the matter?
Be careful with the 21" wheels in the touchless wash. If you don't get the tires aligned in the track perfectly, you can very easily scuff up the rims.
there have been some members who have reported issues with water leaks in various places of the Model S. Take a look at the link below.
8000 miles in and numerous car washes. Have used both with good results. If you plan to use your car as a daily driver, you are much more likely to pick something up on the road than in a car wash. I just ordered my first touch-up paint from the online store las week. Alas, alack.
