There are some locations of superchargers which are not easy to find
why not putting a Tesla flag there ?
I agree that some sort of flag or beacon would be nice, but if you search for "tesla supercharger" in Google maps, it comes back with a fairly precise location...within 20 feet of an actual charger. I've found that to be true for at least 4 of the superchargers in California.
I recently used Gilroy, Harris Ranch, Tejon Ranch and Barstow, and from a combination of the TM website list, Recargo pictures and Google maps found each with no problem and felt like I had been there before.
If you can't find the supercharger in Conn, don't stop and look - just drive around the parking lot over and over and over... I'm sure you'll eventually find it.
When don't need a flag, just the giant obelisk as shown in the Super Charger unveiling.

Just hit the fab four in california: Hawthorn (The Mothership), Tejon, Harris Ranch, and Gilroy.
Entered the address into the nav app and was guided directly to 3 out of four. At Gilroy, the nav directions sent us "right instead of left" into the wrong section of the mall. Then I remembered a comment from this forum, "Look for the Sony Store" and found it.
I agree they could use some better signage. But now that I know, they're easy to find.
Now if they'll just put a Super Charger on the 101 around San Luis Obispo at the Madonna Inn I'll be a happy camper.
What would be great would be to have an updated map of where intended superchargers will go, or where they are in the process of being built. It would seem that Tesla has been busy installing many of them, but they have stayed mum about it. Tesla, PLEASE!!! this is agony not knowing where they (for all intents and purposes) are!

Whatever it was, there apparently will be no more. Elon's alien spaceship landing also got deep-sixed. So far, no distinctive signage whatsoever. Which is a practical problem, aside from being a damn shame.
Most commercial leases have clauses restricting signage and temporary or permanent flags. Think about being an adjacent tenant. Really want a flag flapping, making noise, creating visual pollution? We can find them just fine with GPS. I would prefer that TM spend its time fixing the nav system so it an actually locate the nearest chargers.
Yes I read in some paper that is the bet strategy but I also understood that you don't need to plug in.

Hopefully this is true and by "topography aware range projections", I hope they mean taking elevation into account.
Yup. These seem like a no brainer for future software upgrades.
yeah, and if you have to go 60 miles be sure to unplug when the rated range says 32!
Lots of people have had difficulty picking up the last few steps of the location directions. I guess not everyone is as smart as you; that's evidently your opinion, and since you're so smart you're probably right. Or SLT.
