Special Process for grandfathered 60kwh owners with SuperCharging?

Anyone know if there is a special process or specific system in place for those of us who were early adopters and received free SuperCharging on the 60kwh car?

I have a longer trip planned and will need SuperCharging and I want to avoid showing up and being denied charging.

Any 60kwh-ers out there have the 411 on this?
Will the SuperChargers recognize me as an early adoptee?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

Considering all cars have the supercharger hardware bits in them you should have no problems. It's just a matter of turning it on if it doesn't work. I would think that is just a phone call to Tesla.

If your car is capable, it will not/cannot be "denied".

I have 60 with super charger and have used super charging without any issue whatsoever.

The hardware for supercharging comes with all 60KW cars.
You have to spend $2000 to turn the software on o access the hardware twhen ordering the car or $2500 after purchase.

@Ziak

I think Scwins is referring to those who did not have to pay the additional $2k, who reserved prior to the pricing change for supercharging.

@Scwins: I'd put in a call to Tesla service and have them verify remotely that your car is SC enabled in software.

If you configured your car and signed the purchase agreement before the announcement back in late summer 2012, you've got it on your car and its configured. We got an email saying we'd been grandfathered in back then also. All you need to do is call TM and ask. They can look at your car and tell you. Easy.
