Who will be the first NBA player Tesla Owner?

The following video clip is very much like a fan-made commercial advertisement.

NBA Mike Conley test drove Ferrari 458 Spider and Range Rover then had a complete different reaction to the Tesla:

"Oh! It's on?"

"What?"

"No sound at all!"

Who's taking the Bitcoin bet?

Steve Nash already has one.

Ah. New he was a smart guy. John Salley probably would have got one, if he could fit in it... He probably has reserved a Model X.

Larry Bird but they took out the front seat

LaMarcus Aldridge also has one.

Do they pull into the local court and shoot 3's thru the Pano roof?

@NKYTA - Yes, just an extension to the old Larry Bird vs. Michael Jordan ad where each will try to outdo the other by shooting and banking off the weirdest objects and then hitting the basket...

Maybe this will help get some Superchargers out Memphis way.

I think Blake Griffin has one, too.

Wouldn't some of them need to get the driver's seat modified and moved back? It would depend on how easily that could be done. And while an NBA player could afford to hire someone to do such a job, it would still take time and be a nuisance.

And I know what I'm talking about: I'm too tall to comfortably fit in a stock Prius, had to redesign and rebuild the seat mounting, and it was a real job. Because of the weird multiple angles of a Prius's seat mounting bolts, I had to fabricate a gadget that involved four big pieces of 2" steel angle, half-a-dozen carefully sawed and filed aluminum blocks, and quite a few bolts to connect those together and to the seat and car. It took several weeks.

All of this just to move the seat back six inches.

What no seatbelt? Is he sitting on a buckled belt to make it work? Not very smart or safe.

Blake Griffin has the car that all the world swears is a 'fraternal twin' of the Tesla Model S: the Kia Optima. He is their spokesperson. That doesn't mean he won't have an MS in his garage too, though.
