Does anyone know at what temp the battery warmer kicks in? Is there any way of knowing it is working - ie - idiot light?

I drove one of my usual routes yesterday morning and the temp was 45 - 50 degrees. My usage was higher than normal yet the route, speed, and all other factors were pretty much normal.

Just curious.
