(Franz) von Holzhausen has a Blueberry - bright blue Model S

EDITED

I initially thought this with Frans vHH, but it is the Twitter/Instagram feed of volHolzhausen handbags. I believe it is run by Franz' wife Vicki, so not sure if this is her car, or their car...

Difficult to embed Instagram photos, so you'll need to click the link: http://instagram.com/p/bkAIU-hndm/

That's very close to Subaru's famed World Rally Blue and what they're now painting BRZs: http://wallpaperswiki.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Subaru-Brz-09.jpg

Gorgeous color! If they'd offered it, that's probably what I would've chosen for mine.

I bet his has parking sensors...

Wow, now that looks pretty sick. Funny there was just a thread about wanting gold paint, haha.

Uh, nah. Color looks too economy car.

It's "electric" blue ;-)

My wife says "That's ugly". I agree I wouldn't be seen dead in that car.

And I bought a purple Lexus LS 430 in 2003 because it was $8,000 off MSRP.

I don't like it, but to each his own. It's unique, so that's something.

I really like it, but then I also like ViperBrad's:

@cfoh

Yes. To me, that color isn't luxury.

not lux == different customer base :)

I use to have a 350Z in that color, looks amazing!!!

It has an arc-electric look to it, which is fitting.

Where is the wing on the back? LOL

A HUGE spoiler would be an appropriate addition to that color.

@cfOH,
Yes, too economy.. EXACTLY like that. Wouldn't be caught dead in the Jag, either.

I think it looks amazing. The split in responses on this thread illustrates the Model S' dual nature: for some, it's a luxury sedan, and for others, it's a wicked cool sports car. I fall in the latter group and think this electric blue (or ViperBrad's matte) make it look mean and gnarly.

I saw the car in person when I did a factory tour in May. It was very impressive in person. They said it was painted in LA and shipped up for assembly so as not to disrupt the factory.

@colasec Exactly! I see the MS (at least my P+) as a luxurious (by comparison) sports sedan, whereas others view the MS as a sporty luxury car. Might also be an age thing. ;-)

Actually, with the split developing in opinions, seems like TM would welcome adding hot sports-car colors to their lineup. The arrest-me red is pretty close already. Maybe they are saving those colors for their Model Sc - convertible. :)

Looks like a Mazda

Thank God we don't all have the same taste. Can yo imagine all cars would look the same - same color, same shape, same make! It would be really boring out there on the road:-)

@Carefree :
or all fall in love with the same wife... ?

On the east coast we call that "nauseating blue" with candy apple undertones.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I saw this vehicle extensively in person on June 27th AM in Hawthorne whilst charging for an extensive travel day.

It is incredible. I knew instantly it was not third party, and that it was a genuine Tesla unavailable to others. Two passing engineers confirmed my guess, and I have to say they were very cool, clearly excited, intelligent and insightful professionals.

The interior accented the same blue lightly against a dark suede grey.

As mentioned, a camera phone can't do this color justice.

It is something to envy.

*June 28th PM.

Sorry, July obviously. It's been a busy summer.

I saw a similar car at Gilroy supercharger back on 05/25/2013:

Right next to standard colors:
