Heard a friends.......was. NO BETTER......
Save your money

All 4 of us compared a Reus system side by side with our existing systems at the Teslive event and were blown away enough to want to spend the money. You are welcome to save YOUR money but others may have different appreciation nad priority for audio quality.

Just telling one person's experience....
Very unhappy....
Good luck you however wish you the best!

"Stay away...."

That's beyond "Just telling one person's experience...."

There are several glowing reviews on the Reus upgrade on this and the TMC forum from very happy customers. I assume your friend was not stupid enough to buy it w/o testing it first. So.. there are 2 possibilities: 1) He bought it w/o testing (then find smarter friends); or 2) He did not get what he listened to (meaning Reus cheated him). If its option 2 I am sure you would have used a harsher language.

Good points...
Not sure which one.....
Just very unsatisfied....he thought it was a waste.....

Wishing you all the best though

$3500 for car stereo equipment can take you a long way. $1500 for premium amps, $1500 for premium speakers and $500 to install it all should provide you with a thumping system.

The upgraded Tesla system on our test drive was mediocre at best. I had a $1000 system in high school 20 years ago with a 15" sub and 400 watts that absolutely thumped and screamed.

Conversational terrorism on both sides. Options are (following OPs logic) only that dissenter's friends are stupid or what 'didn't happen happened.' On the flip side, criticism of the OP's advertised product with meager at best details, nothing resembling proof or even first-hand testimony.

Standard rules apply. Caveat emptor.

I have a Reus installed in my P85+. It is about 2-3 times better than the upgraded stock system and its made the car much more enjoyable to drive. It is super clear and accurate in its sound reproduction. If I had to do it over again, I would definitely put in the same system in the car. It works seemlessly with the system, and Reus has done several cars, so they can be trusted.

As well, just don't think those who have a Tesla want a thumpin' system like those found in a Civic do you?? The subwoofer has an adjustment knob on the left of the seat so you can adjust the level of base if you want that thumpin bass though....

I appreciate your attempt to keep the dialog civil on the forum but I think you ignore cause and effect. When someone here takes the position of "stay away" w/o substantiation I think he earned the right to be lambasted...

michael
OP's advertised product? Not his, not advertised. Just an owner trying to arrange a group to get a group discount.

Amir,

Do you have a final price? When I chatted with REUS, they indicated that $3,400 was the price but you were trying to get a group together to get more of a discount from the $3,400.

I can email you details for a variety of options. What email should I use?

Wow...
Didn't know I was being lambasted.....guess I'm not that sensitive.....
My friend felt ripped off.....
If you're happy then God bless you.....
To each his own.......
Good luck to all!
Wish you the best!

I was responding to Michael1800 who defined our interaction as "conversational terrorism"... Obviously he is more sensitive than both of us. I think that there is lesson here for both of us (and others on the forum): you took the dissatisfaction of your friend and instead of just reporting it as such went an extra step and told the world to "stay away". I obviously overacted and called your friend stupid for spending big bucks w/o testing it first...

Good point..
Hope you enjoy your sound system!

Can you email me the different options? My email is my username at yahoo. Also, I missed the Teslive event. Is there anyplace that I can still listen to the Reus setup, preferably in the North bay?
