New Model S Reservation holder

Finally did it! I've placed my reservation for a Model S. Test driving the Roadster was the final straw...these cars are amazing. Oh, and I got a jacket to go with my reservation...

Just reserved recently for Canadian S and got P143. I was told by a Tesla rep, they estimate it would take them less than 24 hours to build each cars at the assembly line.

@Michiganmodels I think I saw canadian S#64 on a separate thread though many of these may be coming off the P list.

Just wanted to update on my reservation number P441 for the EU-spec Model S.

I think that's a pretty big jump within a couple of weeks of the last update, but I think that the Geneva Motor Show this year (2011) is for something...

Vas.

Canadian Signatures are confirmed. I upgraded my Model S about 2hrs after getting the E-Mail. My Model S reservation number was #91 . I got the confirmation back from Tesla already stating that my reservation was upgraded and confirmed. I did not get a sequence number yet for the Signature, but I'll send it in just as soon as it becomes available.

I was given #3371 and am in the United States of America. Not quite as elite as 1337, but I'll take it. This is a standard S reservation.

It strikes me that conversions to Signature will leave "gaps" in the Production sequence, so the latest assigned number will not actually represent the total reserved. Don't know what proportion of the Sig series are conversions.

I have added a signature reservation to my old production reservation. I doubt that I would take both but will not give up the P951 from two years ago until I am happy with the options on the signature.

March 16, 2011. S234.

But you will only exercise one of them, so my point stands: the total is overstated by one because of YOU!

I upgraded to a Model S here in Canada and my reservation number when from P123 to S123.

ColinB, I don' t think Tesla has done any reordering of the signature series numbers yet and probably won't until next week at the earliest. So far there have been 5 others that have upgraded but all keeping their same p series number. Expectation is that sometime after the 21 st upgrade deadline they will compress the list and we will be given new numbers. You should be much lower than 123 when it is done, unless every other Canadian in the list decides to upgrade.

Sorry Brian H, I don't understand text talk well. Frown, wink, ? .

You are right I will only buy one ModelS but will keep both deposits for now. I don't want to lose my place in the p line if I skip the signature for some reason. Expensive but my dream since seeing a Baker Electric using original batteries 40 years ago.

I went to Newport Beach yesterday afternoon to check out the Model S. The actual car, as opposed to the photos, didn't disappoint. What did disappoint was the arrogant attitude of the representative. Every question I asked was responded to with defensive and condescending answers. The guy really didn't know what he was talking about. I walked out of the Tesla dealership with a bad taste in my mouth - I felt almost like requesting a refund on my deposit. Anyone else have this experience? I think Tesla needs to re-evaluate this guy's position in their company.

Ocatty, once with your experience is enough, you voiced an opinion, only once is needed.

"catty" for sure. I must counter that everyone I have ever spoken to at Tesla in the last two years has been extremely professional and very helpful.

They have always bent over backwards to help me out. A Tesla Ranger stopped by my house today to check something in my Roadster, and it turned out he just happened to be in town on a family visit and took the time out to check my car! That's way above and beyond the call.

Hello, all. Just got my Model S reservation in and they told me on 14 March 2011 that I had the US 3,331st spot. I almost replied and asked for the 3333 spot but decided against it. :-)

Also, I finally got to visit my first dealership--the London location. They couldn't have been nicer and I enjoyed looking at the three Roadsters they had there. Still, the Model S is the car for me and I can't wait for 2012!

Placed my Model S reservation March 17th - I have US reservation # 3384. I'm guessing at this point it will be well into 2013 before I take delivery (unless I'm missing something about their production schedule).

Hi
1. Wouldn t it be easier if the most recent blogs would be on the first page (i.e. reverse the order) instead of skipping to the last page?
2. UK based, I 'upgraded to a Signature, but have no confirmation (or different order number).

Probably, yes. You should mention your suggestion in this thread:
http://www.teslamotors.com/forum/forums/website-feedback

At least, when you click on the link "x new" instead of on the topic title, you jump directly to the first new post in that topic.

vouteb - I could not agree more. I would also like to be able to email indiviual users if need be.

Running totals so far of 4502 reservations for the Model S. That number is based on the meticulous upkeep of MichiganModelS

If they plan on the 5000 production for the first year then it would make sense to deliver to all the North American Reservations and then the rest in early 2013 to me .. but I am just guessing.

Well, I took the leap and made my reservation. I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself.

Congratulations and welcome to the Tesla family! You have successfully reserved a place in the Model S production queue.

Your reservation sequence number is 3,408 of the General Production reservation list.

William13;
They're called "emoticons"; that sequence was frown, wink, razz. ;P is big razz, ;p is little razz.

;)
:D ( = 'laugh' )

Just teasing you, you see!
