Norwegian deliveries

I reserved my P85 #2145 on 27. December. Yesterday I decided to sign up for the Signature wait list. The Signatures are all gone of course but I thought that maybe enough defers to open for a chance. The eternal optimist. Of course, TM UK office confirmed the wait list is long, but that I am on it.
Curious about when they expect deliveries will start in Norway, especially now that production is cranked up. I was told for now they plan 12 months from my reservation date. That means maybe for Christmas. Bummer!

Anyone else with info about Europe arrivals?

I was in Helsinki once at the end of December and it was pretty much twilight between 10 and 2 and dark otherwise. And it's on the Baltic about the same latitude as Oslo. Setting it at night appears to be a reasonable solution.

David, I'm in the Oslo area, we have daylight and even Sun, but by 3...twilight starts...good news starting in Jan each day has more light by 6 min....

Yes, the hours of daylight increase by much more each day than around here.

Must be tough in the summer when you only get 4 hrs to sleep. ;)
When I relocated here (49°N) from about 43° (after being raised at 46°), I was disoriented by the change in seasonal swings and sun angle etc. for years.

Oslo have lots of sunshine. Try at nerby 69*39"N. We have not seen sun for 42 days now. And that was the same day I was delivered our car.
By the way. Our car preforms very nice on snow and ice, whitout spikes in winther-tires. In a few weekend we shall see how it preforms in cold wether. (10C - 20C below zero, maybe 30C below.)
We have only had 2 small trips (150Km - 200Km), so most of driving is in our city. But we will drive south this summer. So i am praying for some SC at E6 north of Trondheim.

P.S.
Happy New Year

Heh. What is it about Norwegians and the word "with"? They seem almost to have a block against spelling it right. "Whit" seems to be the favorite mistake. :D

Brian H,
There is no Th sound in Norwegian...You're corrections here are totally inappropriate. How many languages do you speak, read or write? BTW, I'm American and you're an embarrassment !

Bug off. I'm trying to be helpful. There are numerous sounds in German which don't exist in English, and I learned them to be able to speak clearly. Norwegians have expressed interest and gratitude at learning. Some monolingual Americans may find that hard to grasp.

@GeirT Congrats on your car. I know you have been waiting a long time for it. I have enjoyed your posts on the forum. Best wishes for the new year.
BTW - Great choice on color. (Can you guess what color my S is? :) )

Can any one fill the blanks and adjust the TOTAL Please?

Tesla sold the following number of cars in 2013
US 22610
Norway 1986
Germany
France
Switzerland
Holland
China
The rest of the world like the GULF etc.
TOTAL > 24596

It is resonable to assume that Tesla made more cars than that if we take into account the cars that are on boats to be sold and the demo cars.

Now should we not include the Model X that they are working on? And maybe other secrets!

I think that Tesla made well over 30k in 2013 from the Model S alone.

Any thoughts gents?

I'm not one of those monolingual Americans, I speak, read and write three languages, I'm the slow one in the family, my parents read, write and speak seven perfectly.
So don't give out anymore of your condescending attitude towards me....you might mean well, but your approach leaves much to be desired. The Norwegian board is not the only one where you correct English grammar and spelling...you said I should "bug off" Darling you need to get a life! And here is where it ends, you're ignored from this minute on.

@Alaa
I think your numbers are wrong, Tesla said only few weeks ago they met production of 600/week (that means 30,000 anualized at the end of 2013, not at the beginning of 2013). More reasonable number would be around 3000 in 2012 and 25-27,000 in 2013. I hope we will see more than 40,000 in 2014.

SnowWhine +1...!!
