Our Tesla poem

THE BEST CAR FOR THE PLANET

Tesla electric is the best car
Super charged by solar, it goes far.
I must confess we love our Model S
It's fast, fun and clean
TESLA- our American machine!

by Ann Smith

Fast, sleek, and so much more,
The Tesla is impossible to abhor.
As it zooms by the people, they can not budge,
And it, they do begrudge.
From zero to sixty in just four point two seconds,
And to all it beckons.
This car, so beautiful and amazing,
It always keeps the fans crazing.
Without emitting a single fume,
Tesla motors and their cars shall bloom.
The Tesla is a perfect symbol
Of high class and ever so nimble.
To say all the great things about Tesla takes much too long,
So I’ll let you do your own research, now run along.

By Josh Ehlinger

Josh wins. Honorable mention to Ann.

begrudge? Nasty.

THE MODEL S

Fast, sleek, and so much more,
The Tesla S is impossible to ignore.

From zero to sixty in just over four,
A smile on your face as your foot hits the floor.

With owner satisfaction at 99 percent,
This car is so beautiful it must be heaven sent.

Zero emissions and nary a fume,
A super charging station is where I will zoom.

If you happen to see me, give me a wave,
for us early adopters are paving the way.

NO2PTRL,
with plagiarized line from Josh.

TESLA S: Ferrari fast, Porsche cornering, and Lexus comfort!

By the way, Josh Ehlinger is only a high school freshman. And begrudge means envy.

To NO2PTRL,
I'm impressed.
Very nice.

TU, added a new line about Elon.

The Tesla Model S

Fast, sleek, and so much more,
The Model S is hard to ignore.

From zero to sixty in just over four,
A smile on your face as your foot hits the floor.

With owner satisfaction at 99 percent,
This car must be heaven sent.

Zero emissions and nary a fume,
A super charging station is where I will zoom.

Critics and haters continue to spew,
while Elon and company are fast on the move.

If you happen to see me, give me a wave,
for early adopters are paving the way.

NO2PTRL,

Freshman level explains it. And another fundamental sense of 'begrudge' is "wish ill or allow unwillingly". Nasty.

To NO2PTRL,
Awesome! I really like your poem. :)

Josh is doing an English assignment where he has to write poems and pick favorite poems. He's going to use the one by NO2PTRL.

For a favorite. (forgot that part)

My pleasure.
