call Tesla, they will replace the door handle.
mine was the right rear passenger door. it was really annoying when it did it every time I went in or out of the car or put it in Park, and I had to reach way over to close it from the inside. Luckily it has now been fixed.

Thanks Portia. Has been working flawlessly. So far just this one time, but I guess that is one time too many.
