Rear facing child seats.

My wife and I are looking into buying a Model S, but we are really intrigued by “rear child seats“ in a sedan. This is the only thing holding us from buying it. We have a 3 year old girl and 8 year old boy.
If you own a model S with these features, I would like to know how you handle having the kids in the rear of the car, how they adjust, etc.
Thanks in advance

Thank you.

I've had my MS for a couple of weeks now and my kids (3-10) love the rear facing seats, they say its the coolest feature of the car. I couldn't imaging getting the car without it. The also easily fold into the feet well if you need the storage.

Our kids love them. 4 year old twin boys !

Our six year old loves the rear facing seats. It's an easily adjustable 5-point harness.

They may be the safest seats in the car. But you may want stronger IR-blocker coating for the rear window now that summer is coming. Apparently it can get hot for the kids back there.

I read on a thread that it gets hot back there and it sure does. My 4 year old complained about the heat the first day I got it. I usually use sun covers. Oh yeah, he calls the back his "Spaceship".... So he must like it back there.

The novelty is good and works for short distances. If you plan on road trips they are not practical.
1. No access to the kids, hand them food etc , also no visual on if they are awake or sleeping
2. Seats are unconformtable for naps. No side rest to support the neck.
3. They are sitting on top of eachother and share one cup holder.

I have someone down my block with a MS. 2 car seats installed in passenger seats, rear jump seats are immaculate in the back.

But for the additional its still worth having installed

I'm glad we only have 2 grandkids (7 and 10), otherwise we'd have arguments about who gets to use them. They LOVE them! Absolutely worth the cost.

I am somewhat disappointed with the seats. I have an 8 year old and a 4 year boys. The 8 year old's head is touching the roof, so he did not want to sit there, and 4 year old of cause refused to sit there by himself. Now I am having hard time buckle in with his booster seat.
