Tire Repair Kit - Model S

Has anybody purchased this? If so what are your experiences? Given the fact that there is no spare tire I was thinking this might possibly be worthwhile if even just to keep inflation proper before going out from home. If one got a flat for some reason it could be really handy to put the sealant in and re-inflate. The $50 price tag seems oddly low given $200 Tesla trunk mats and $45 power adapters. Not that I'm complaining.....

I have one, just in case. You can buy another brand on Amazon for about $40. However the $50 one from Tesla is compact and has a sealer or just air (cigarette lighter plug).

bought one but havent used it

I have both the Tesla endorsed version as well as the one from Slime. Both are TPMS safe. I bought both in case one does not do the job. Best to be prepared with a backup solution when you are stranded.

I got the Telsa one. The gauge reads differently than my $30 heavy duty tire gauge, so I tend to trust that. I've used it without slime to check/add/balance tire pressure before long trips (Vegas/LA). Works just fine, aside from the fact that I think it reads too high.

Bought same unit from Walmart for $30 and hope I never need it.

I bought the Tesla one, but I never even took it out of the plastic. I suppose I should try it out just to make sure it even works...

I finally got the one I was supposed to get with my car (I'm in MD, one of two states like that). Just picked it up a couple of days ago--haven't looked closely at it or removed the plastic.
