I recently started using a Wiki to collect/consolidate information. Feel free to create an account and contribute. Open to the public here:

http://www.teslawiki.net/

So far:

* Links to resources forum members have created: delivery checklist, cost of ownership spreadsheet
* Links to important threads (VIN tracking, super charger tracking, etc)
* Links to must see Tesla videos (like the Nat Geo Telsa Mega-Factories episode)
* Pages on miscellaneous tesla information that can't be found elsewhere (not much here yet)
* Finally links to all of the other telsa related web sites I'm aware of.

For those of you that are not familiar with a "wiki"-- it is just a web site that can updated/modified by anyone.

Thanks everyone... Enough for me to look at while not on this forum

The DoE has a useful trip planning tool showing you all the EV charging stations, along with their contact information, along your route with the ability to filter the stations by charger type, owner and payment method and distance from your proposed route. See here, http://www.afdc.energy.gov/fuels/electricity_locations.html

Been researching this too...

Good calculator on the "Teslanomics" page to look at costs of Model S vs. other cars (a bit outdated though):

There is an "empty niche" here: modifying the route finder software (say Google maps) to include supercharger and other refueling opportunities en route. It should include 2nd and 3rd routes.

@wcalvin - perhaps this one can be of help:

Or this site, think this might be helpful too:
