Has anyone found a weatherproof, in-use housing, outdoor, NEMA 14-50 240v, 50a receptacle? If so, please post a link. I am trying to get my electrician to hook me up in anticipation.
There are too many to list. The NEMA 14-50 is the standard plug all RVs use and they are always outside. Your electrician won't have any problem in getting one. Some even allow the cable to be locked when plugged in.
Try these from Home Depot. Outlet Internet #202066681. Outdoor box Internet #202284506. Cover Internet #100181101. You can find them online at homedepot.com

I installed a Connecticut Electric CESMPS54HR weatherproof RV outlet:
It is a very well made unit, but be aware that the power feed must come from above or below - there are no knockouts on the back or sides.
Also, the door won't close while the Tesla charger is plugged in. However, given the protection the eaves provide, the way the outlet is recessed, and the GFCI breaker feeding this outlet, I think I'm safe.
Here is the Connecticut Electric CESMPS54HR on Amazon: CESMPS54HR
