Silver/tan?

Anyone ordered that combination? Seems like it may not match but it appeals to me. Thanks.

Rodf,

I ordered the silver with tan interior.

At the Scottsdale/Phoenix Tesla store they have/had a silver/tan Model S. It looked good. It is not my cup of tea (I like more contrast than that and will get silver/black) but it it did not look out of place.

Got that combo in my 5 series BMW, really like it. My wife asked that I get off the silver kick so my S is blue, but the silver is a great color.

silver/black here...I can't wait to see it!

We have Silver with gray leather. We like the gray and black two tone interior. The gray is light. We just picked it up Saturday evening.

Thanks for the replies. Comforting to know that silver/tan combos are used. They are both my first pick separately but didn't know how it would work together.

The tan is very light, almost approaching a bone. The tan on a Benz has much more red in it. I don't regret for a second getting the blue and tan, but it will definitely show dirt much more readily than the darker tan. Those with young children or sports-minded owners take note.

My current car has white leather, so this will be a step easier to keep clean!

I haven't reached the ordering stage yet, but I know I will get a silver exterior and either the tan or grey interior. My current car has a black leather interior and I just find it uncomfortably hot. In the end I might do the gray interior with silver - I haven't actually seen either of them in person yet. But for the most part I think you are looking at either the exterior or the interior independently and not together, so I think it makes sense to choose the exterior color that will make you happy looking at your S from the outside, and the interior color you want to be surrounded by when you're inside.

I have the silver/gray combo, with lacewood - had mixed reactions to the Silver/Tan by colleages/friends at the Natick store - Silver/gray or black is a safer choice.

I just received the silver/tan with lacewood and it looks great. Not at all unusual and blends well together. The only issue really is getting the leather dirty. The lacewood provides a good transition from tan to black given that the lacewood is a subtle brownish color.

I too saw the Silver S at Tesla Scottsdale but it was locked up and it was somewhat difficult to make out color contrast etc. due to the glare of the showroom lighting on the glass. It looked ok.
