Can parking lights stay on when car is all locked up?
Happily waiting in line for my Model S. I'm wondering if the parking lights have the ability to stay on when I'm out of the car, locked and parked somewhere where I feel safer for the car to be visible to traffic etc?

Yes. Turned on my parking lights from the touchscreen. Locked the car and let it sit in a darkened garage for 10 minutes. Parking lights (front and rear) stayed on as well as the DRL's, even after I toggled off the DRL's from the touchscreen.

There is nothing in the Owner's Guide about automatic shutoff for the parking lights, so I think they will stay on until you turn them off.
