Falcon Doors on Heavy Snow Day

I like the styling and functionality of the Model X. But I am concerned on a heavy snow day lots of snow will be accumulated on top of the roof/doors. That could seriously interfere with the door operation. Snow could also pour into the car when the doors are being opened....what say U???

Falcon Doors = Pour Rain and Snow into the cabin Doors??

Buy a broom. Use it.

Here is a concept: Just like with ANY other vehicle that DOESN'T have falcon doors, you CLEAN OFF THE TOP OF YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE DRIVING! It's not a hard concept :)

Yeah, I live in Canada and will most likely purchase a model X, and as with our cars now, when there's snow on your car, you brush it off. I keep on seeing these people driving around right after a snowstorm with only their windshield and trunk snow free(only because they have wipers, they don't clean it off themselves) and in the past 2 winters 3 were involved in a minor accident because they weren't fully aware of what was going on around them! I don't know how these people think honestly.

I don't know. I want to see the doors in operation under a rainy or snowy conditions. The question is even after you clean the snow from roof, will any remaining snow or water will trickle into the second row seat or will it trickle to the exterior..........

+ 1 cloroxbb !!

@ justineet
Elon Musk addressed this question at the shareholders meeting (around 41 minutes into the presentation)
there will be water channels around the door to address your concern.

According to Baron's magazine, until Tesla invents removable snow the Model X will be a lemon.

Hah, we're so ahead of the pack: in Norway we've had removable snow for decades now at the very least. It's ... oh ...

(runs to patent office)
