Tesla forward thinking the infotainment computer
There is a lot of press on infotainment needs of the future. The issue here is that the infotainment system in a vehicle becomes obsolete a lot sooner in the life of a car. Today we want our itunes playlists, XM stations, and GPS and waypoints. In the future we may want to connect into our SEP2.0 home control system, our cloud playlists, our BTLE car accessories, or.... The 17" tablet in the Tesla is a wonderfully expandable infotainment system. That can either be update-able or replaced to keep the car at state of the art.
