connecting the dots in Europe

Please share experiences driving long trips through Europe.
The distances to and between superchargers as indicated in the navigation system are not reliable.
If we, users, share our experiences, that would be a great help for the Tesla community in Europe.

"The distances to and between superchargers as indicated in the navigation system are not reliable."

How so? Do you mean that driving on autobahn takes more energy than country roads or just simply navigation can't count kilometers right?

Distances as indicated through the 'Supercharger tabs' are not measured by the sat nav system, but by google maps. Google gives distances 'as the crow flies' In reality the distance over the road is a lot longer (unless you can fly ;-)
No problem to go from one place to a SC; definitely a problem if you want to plan a longer trip and go from SC to SC.

I suspect that @mil is referring to the distance to the SuC's being show as the crow flies, that is until you actually set a route.

But I could be wrong, my wife tells me I am all the time...

I disagree with your wife! It is true you get the right distance when you set a route. The problem is when you want to find out a way from one SC to another during a 'cross-European' trip. The is really hard to do and some guidance from Tesla users would be very helpful
