With the All Glass Panoramic Roof, Model S is the only sedan capable of delivering a convertible-like drive experience every day. It's more than a sunroof: the entire roof is constructed from lightweight safety glass. With a simple swipe of the Touchscreen, it opens wider than any other sedan's panoramic roof and includes a wind-buffet arm to reduce noise. On even the hottest days, the innovative glass blocks 98% of visible light and 81% of heat to keep the cabin comfortable.

Performance Plus Package
Performance Plus takes one of the world's best sedans into supercar handling territory, while also improving ride quality and range. After hundreds of iterations affecting every detail of the suspension, our vehicle dynamics team was able to achieve the rare outcome of simultaneously improving performance, comfort and efficiency. In addition to upgraded dampers, bushings, stabilizer bars and tires (Michelin Pilot Sport PS2), the rear tires are 20 mm wider and staggered for improved acceleration on low grip surfaces. Range improves 6 to 12 miles over regular 21” wheels. Requires 21" wheels, available in Grey or Silver.

Active Air Suspension Active Air Suspension continuously responds to the vehicle’s speed, lowering to improve aerodynamics at highway speeds or raising to increase clearance for city driving. Charging

Model S comes with the necessary equipment to charge at home or on the road using the Tesla Supercharger network. This equipment includes:

Charging

Model S can charge from almost any outlet, anywhere. All Model S cars plug directly into 110 and 240 volt outlets as well as public charging stations using the included Mobile Connector and adapters. The High Power Wall Connector, which installs in your garage, enables cars equipped with Twin Chargers to charge twice as fast as cars equipped with a Single Charger.

Cars equipped with either a 60 or 85 kWh battery can take advantage of Tesla's growing network of Supercharger stations.

21-inch wheels are equipped with low-profile performance tires that provide less protection from, and are consequently more likely to suffer damage from, uneven road surfaces, debris, curbs, and other common obstacles. Damage to wheels or tires from these conditions are not covered under the Model S new vehicle limited warranty. 21-inch wheels with low-profile performance tires reduce battery range compared to 19-inch wheels with all season tires. Model S does not come with a spare wheel and tire.

Rear Facing Seats are child restraint systems intended for children at least 3' 1" tall and between 35 and 77 pounds. Children should be seated upright without their head touching the roof of the car and be properly belted in at all times. It's important that you follow all provided instructions to ensure the safety of your passengers.
