To Any Tesla owner on the Big Island of Hawaii

I am a massage therapist at the Mauna Lani Spa and I live with my family in Waikoloa Village, HI.
I have installed 20 Solar World panels on my roof and I am planning to add 9 with a set of batteries as a back up, and to take car of an electric car. Ma garage is Tesla Model S ready. I would love to meet with one or all of the owners in the island. If any of you feel to contact me, feel free to do so. I am fascinated with TESLAMOTORS and their way of doing business and my somewhat free, clean solar renewable energy....
My wife got to drive the Model S in San Jose in October and loved the experience....
Aloha and Mahalo

wellnext, I can't remember who it was, but there are definitely other Hawaiians among the members of this forum! Lets hope they read your post. This forum has become a little too busy recently...

We'll be in Hawaii @ Kanaloa at Kona in feb. and by then we'll have received our Model S (though it will be in the garage in Sacramento). Expect Jan delivery.

Love to visit with you then. A drink at my house or at one of the resorts on the South Kohala coast.

I do not live in Hawaii but will be at Manau Kea the first week of January. I may be receiving my Tesla before the end of the year.

Sounds great. We are hopng to have a couple of weeks with our car before we travel to Hawaii...We can discuss how great our cars are!!!

To scottluc10,
Come visit us at the Mauna Lani Spa, 4 miles down the road from Mauna Kea and ask for me.... Alain. I would love to share your experience. By the way I believe that one of the Tesla owner in Hawaii may have a villa at Mauna Kea. Hope and pray you will get your Model S within a few days from now. Great Christmas gift indeed!

WE live in Honolulu and our model s should be here in two months. We would live to know other Model S owners here and learn from their experience.

Aloha, I live in Kailua-Kona and should have my car in 2-3 months. I am also interested in what others here on the Big Island have to say about their experiences with Tesla. And of course more than happy to share mine. A hui hou, Jeff

Received our Model S on MOnday. Most amazing car in the world. You'll never want to drive anything else after this. Its just plain fun. We'll be in Kona the 12-19th. Love to chat if anyone is up for it! ALoha! Laura

To jeffdhood21-

We live in Waikoloa Village. Would love to see your car when you get it. Did you get the 85 kWh battery?

I have just installed the NEMA 40/70Amp in my garage. It costed me $400 for the installation. If you ever run out of juice, you may stop in the village and top off at my house.... I am producing 20 to 34 kWh a day with my 20 x 255W Solar World and I am planning to add 10 more panels which should be enough to provide free charges. One or two hours every other night should be enough, since I usually don't drive more that 30 miles a day but for the days I go to Kona, once a week and Hilo, once a month. I may replace my enphase micro inverters with the Sunny Boys 240 from CMA to install Sunny Island and a bench of battery for back up.
Feel free to email me at schiller@healthinmotion.net
Aloha

Aloha to all you Hawaiians! I live in Virgina but was in Hawaii several years ago. If you live on the big island of Hawaii, how many trips around the ring road can you make before you need to recharge the 85kWH version? Seems like range anxiety won't be a problem with you guys.

Mahalo brudas.
