As the owner you can delete the thread - but it is not obvious. At the top left of the screen (or sometimes if you hover over the Tesla logo, depending on your browner) you'll see and 'edit' link. Select it, then chose 'none selected' as the forum destination and hit save. Your thread should vanish into never-never land.
