What appear to be linear changes are actually just small segments of a curve describing cyclical changes. It all depends on your time horizon. Burris's theory would not have predicted the decline in western civilization after the fall of the Roman Empire. Of course, as Keynes said, in the long run we are all dead, so maybe I'll but some more TSLA as well.
