On March 29, 2011, Tesla reluctantly took legal action against Top Gear for libel and malicious falsehood. It is our last attempt to correct the misinformation that, through its repeated and consistent rebroadcasts to hundreds of millions of viewers, has damaged not only Tesla, but all electric vehicles.
